Newsweek's Clift offers predictions (On Dean, Hillary and Others)
Rep. Shelley Moore Capito could be West Virginia’s first woman governor — and maybe even more.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has the edge over Condoleezza Rice for first woman president.

And if any Democrat can beat President George W. Bush, it might be former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean “because he’s been able to do what the rest of the candidates have not, and that’s generate some excitement.”

Eleanor Clift, a Newsweek contributing editor and McLaughlin Group regular, is known for her accurate political predictions. 2. She is awesome
I watch the McLaughlin Group every week and am always pleased with what she has to say.

I swear though, one day she's gonna dive across the table and strangle Tony Blankley by his fat neck.

I don't begrudge Dean his support, but honestly.

There's a way to go here, and Ms. Clift, and really, everyone else, should really not assume that the other candidates don't have a thing or two up their sleeves.

I guess that's why the article said "might".
