The Kerry strategy "convicted" Bush* as a lying incompetent
I have observed attorneys at work for many years. I saw it right away tonight in Kerry's demeanor. He politely baited Bush* to the point Bush* had to resort to biting his lip. Known for his short fuse, Bush* had to grit his teeth to keep from losing his temper. But Kerry did not let up. Making his case to the jury (we, the people), Kerry painted with words a portrait of a man in the Oval House who was "less than candid" with the American people, a Commander-in-Chief who showed poor judgment, a leader leading this Country's people into the path of increased exposure to the terrorists as opposed to protecting us. Kerry was controlled, logical, effective, in fact deadly. He did not let up.

Bush* did not "lose it" despite the baiting, but the camera shots of Bush*s face clearly showed a man uncomfortable with the indictments. He did not respond to most of the charges. I believe the overall verdict is that Kerry showed the American people what an American president should look like and talk like, and what an American president should not look like and talk like. He made his case.

In that latter regard, Bush* lost tonight. It was "no contest."
