Tag-line/catchphrase of the night: "You forgot Poland"
Look for ways to use it. Ultimate tagline for a lame performance. I dearly hope Leno's writers are working something up right now. I think it could become a byword for failure and ineptitude. Just has that kind of resonance for me: Guy at work gives a really lousy presentation, everybody's looking embarrassed, how do we get this across to the guy that he's just utterly blown it, then someone pips up, "You forgot Poland," and brings the house down.

2. "It's hard work..."
It's true. Bullshit wars of aggression ARE really hard work for the grunts that have to do it for the "American people."

5.  I'm thinking
too bad there is no 5 second patent. Because "Don't foget the POLAND" will soon remind us of how the condiment packaging industry has beem outsourced to a kurdish village just north of the tigris-euphrates where they no longer have sewage-treatment. Nor do they have any regulations pertaining to drinking water. "You quote the phrase, you own it".

Poland to Buy Lockheed Jets
U.S.-Backed Loan Aided Decision

By Andrzej Stylinski
Associated Press
Saturday, December 28, 2002; Page E03

WARSAW, Dec. 27 -- Poland announced today that it has chosen Lockheed Martin F-16 jet fighters to modernize its air force to NATO standards in an order worth about $3.5 billion.

Lockheed Martin Corp. beat out two rival European bids with a U.S. government-backed offer to supply 48 of the planes as well as weapons, pilot training and investment in Poland to help offset the cost of replacing Soviet-made fighters.

-snip-

Washington padded Lockheed Martin's F-16 bid with the offer of a $3.8 billion loan to Poland with repayment terms of up to 15 years. The U.S. Congress approved the loan in October. U.S. officials have argued that their financial plan is flexible and will depend on Poland's payment ability.

17. Hey,we loaned you 3.8 billion YOU will send troops to Iraq !!
So...that's how you build a coalition, you loan them money on flexible terms. Those planes and that loan have cost Poland 13 lives in the War. Has it been worth it?

16. Yeah,St.Kitts and Barts also.....
Gawd... how pathetic Bush was trying to re-build his coalition last night. There wasn't one in 2003 George, there isn't one NOW.

Like Kerry said we've done ALL the heavy lifting and it shows in death tolls and wounded. You could have TRIED to secure a coalition like Kerry would have done but you and HALLIBURTON needed in and needed in now.
