Anybody Catch JON STEWART? |
|
Daily Show was great! Really, the only hit he took at Kerry was an obligatory long-windedness joke about his first response. But it was clear that Jon was really impressed with Kerry. All his jokes towards Kerry were from a positive standpoint. But he BASHED Bush constantly; he made so much fun of Bush's blank stares and the Poland quips, etc.
Rob Cordry and Stephen Colbert were great spoofing the campaign spin about how Bush won. Samantha Bee was great cursing out swing voters! (Why are you sh*itting me?! What the f*ck do you still have to make you mind about?! How the f*ck do you dress yourselves in the morning?!"
If you didn't catch it, catch it tommorrow. Clark was great too, Giuliani was just a hack and Stewart didn't bow to his bs - he called him on his shots. Rudy said Kerry was inconsistent and flip-flopped during the debate, but Stewart was like "I didn't really see that... you know what, it was probably just my TV, but I, uh, he seemed pretty clear and consistent to me."

5. I loved the Guiliani part |
|
where as expected Guiliani kept trying to rewrite history as it happened! And Stewert kept mentioning that what Guiliani said happened, DIDN"T ACTUALLY HAPPEN!
But maybe we all just are watching different TVs..from ALTERNATE UNIVERSES!

7. You could almost see Jon losing respect for Rudy on-air |
|
Jon I think really likes him, and I think that it was kind of a blow to see Rudy still parroting RW talking points.

9. Actually, after the obligatory "long-winded" thing |
|
...he played a clip of Kerry summing up his Iraq critique in a very concise way, set out to mock it for being longwinded, then said, "I got nothing. That was clear, concise, to the point. I got nothing."
First time EVER, I think. He's actually been pretty tough on Kerry right along.

10. And his psychic hotline was working in America: the Book |
|
I nearly puked when I saw the "Dress the Supreme Court" section of the book where all the Supremes' heads are put on naked bodies.
...and now just read that Scalia said orgies are healthy to release social tension...
eeeeeeeeuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!
