anyone catch Pearl Jam on Letterman?
I wasn't really paying attention at first because I was reading posts here. But Vedder was singing something like "I hope you die soon; I'll stand watch over your grave to make sure you're really dead." Was he singing about Bush?

2. Sounds like they were covering Dylan...
That's a line from "Masters of War" off of Freewheelin'. I wish I'd seen that.

5. Yeah
They cover that all the time. It's on both the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary concert cd and the new Live and Acoustic at Benaroya Hall cd.

Excellent song, excellent band.

4. It was incredible!
I was flipping channels -- had just caught Al Franken on Leno -- wow!

At the commercial I switched to Letterman -- and there was Pearl Jam doing Dylan's "Masters of War" -- AMAZING!
