Thank you so much John Kerry for coming through in the clutch! |

Anyone who has been on DU or anywhere in the new and growing Lefty Blogosphere has heard (and yes, sometimes coming clickety clack from my keyboard, too) endless rants about Kerry the candidate.
What is he doing wrong? What is he NOT doing? What SHOULD he do and so forth and so on.
However, in the last months or so, Kerry has stepped up and come out swinging, and last night at the debate he out-Presidentialled Bunnypants* on just about every level there is from "zingers" and impressive rhetoric to the whole body language bullshit that they tarred Gore with.
And I would like to thank Senator Kerry for his performance, in the clutch when we and America needed him to step up and do eevrything in his power to wrest these Bushevik Vampire from our necks!
He was almost flawless. He was firm, confident, in command, intelligent, Presidential.
Any of us who were for Clark or Dean could not help but wonder if they would have been able to put forth such a commaning thrashing at this crucial moment.
So, I just want to thank John Kerry and his campaign team for what they all did last night. You have done a great service to the nation and given us a real chance at preserving our Old Democratic-Republic for some more years.
Thank you, sir. Thank you. You always had my support, but tonight you made a believer out of me.
I only hope you remain as firm and confdent and strong after you are in office. And I hope you really open the seals on all the Hidden Bushevik Recors so that the full nature of the Corruption Fest of the previous 4 years gets some air and some INVESTIGATION!
But again, thank you sir. You sure damned well did Report For Duty last night.
And you wiped the floor with the Smirking Chimp.
Thank you. America owes you a debt for that. Now go and finish taking this thing! I'll be with you every step of the way, working my ass off!

Very impressive on every level.
Now, will the National Security State ALLOW him to gain the Office of President of the United States. That's the real question.

I didn't see the debate: I was in an airplane on the second leg of the journey back from Japan.
Now that I open my jet lagged eyes and check up on DU, I'm delighted to hear that our guy did so well!

the next president of the United States. Kerry is truly a closer, and I'm so proud of him and also proud that he is our candidate.

I think if left in a room alone with the Chimp Kerry would...er...ah...never mind. Burning Bush joke and all that. But I think you get the point. He is a true to life Rambo. The book could have been written about him. Bush ain't got a chance. Its all downhill from here for the Chimpster. Take it to the bank. Don

John Kerry was articulate, passionate and countered well the "flip-flop" attacks. He spoke with knowledge and insight. (paraphrased) 'We must not confuse the war with the warriors' a great line that drew parallels between Iraq and Viet Nam, and the treatment of our returning soldiers. I liked Kerry before last night but, after seeing the debate...I have a whole new repsect for Him.
WOO HOO !!!! :toast:
