1000 posts, from a child's Point of View.
Hello. My name is Miniluvamericahatebush. I am LAHB's daughter. Recently, she passed 1000 posts, and I would like to say a few things....

My mother is awesome. She cares for me and my father, for our cats and dog. She cooks and cleans, she scrubs the bathtub and vacuums the carpet when the pet hair becomes too much. But behind this 'Normal' looking mother, there is a soft and complex soul buried.

She is 45, trying to keep her hair a beautiful shade of brown, trying to make a better life for her child, and a plant lover. One of the movies that my dad took my mother to see when they were dating was 'Rock 'n' roll High School' there, she was introduced to Punk Rock. She still listens to her music today, giving me lectures on how she loves the music.

She is also a plant lover. Our yard is filled with fragrant roses, peonies, lilacs, and lilies. Every once and a while, a car stops by and tells me what a lovely yard it is. She works to exhaustion sometimes, I remember when she forgot to come in and eat. Walking out and asking how I should make dinner with the pleasant hum of a garden hose, the crackle of the radio, and the smell of freshly cut flowers has become the things I always associate with summer.

She is, as you know, a truly funny and charming Democrat. She spouts the greatest things at the greatest moments. She protects my point of views, and I protect hers. We both have different, but at the same time, the same views. I can tell her about the Republican kid who thinks he knows everything to her, and she'll give me the right answer how to deal with it.

My mother is my guiding light. In the days of a economical black out, in which I might not get a job, she is my beacon. She is my Galadriel, she is my Princess Leia, she is my Genkai. She is Hillary Clinton, she is the First Woman President. She is everything to me.

Because she is my mother.

5. And you join my own daughters in the best daughters in the world...
club! I know your mother not only from your words, but from what you say, and how you say it. You are smart, aware, funny, a terrific writer, and, most of all, loving -- just like your Mom. All the best to you both.
