"Fahreneheit 9/11" dvd. Buy and lend to people.
The networks are limiting when Sony can advertise the "Fahreneheit 9/11" dvd (banning the ads during news shows, when people most interested in current events are tuned in.)

There is an easy way we can fight back.

Buy a dvd and lend it to people.

1. F 911 is political in nature
Equal airtime laws and such, they'd have to find as much time to promote shrubbypants*.

Excellent idea of yours, to compensate for this! At least we can't be silenced. Yet.

4. If they can broadcast ads for the dvd during dramas, there
is no law saying they couldn't also run the ads during news broadcasts.

5. What equal airtime laws apply? I thought the Fairness Doctrine was
trashed by Raygun?

Do you know what laws exist, and what they cover?

Not a test...... if you don't know, that's OK...... cuz I don't either. ~~gigglesnort~~

Good idea, this, but it's "hard work" (tm) for us to have to make up for the mass media!

Kanary, who thinks our work from now on is dispersing educational videos!!!

2. One good way of doing that...
...is by buying a copy to donate to your public library.

3. Why? When bittorrent downloads are free?
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 06:38 PM by cosmicvortex20
And MM has said he doesnt care if people download the movie, so its not unethical if its given away.
