Although I don't post much, I visit here quite often. I notice DU is starting to become a force in debunking the incredible lie machine of the right. I remember Watergate very well and I don't believe the GOP has changed one iota since then.

I too have been lurking for a while. The first time I logged on was when I saw the DemocraticUnderground.com signs at the protests on inauguration day. It was a big defining moment in my life. Reading your posts over the last 4 years has been one of the few things that have brought me hope about the country - just knowing there's an army of dissent-ers out there just like me.

I do have a question for the group. Are there ever rallies or protests planned or organized through DU? I'm sure we all are doing all we can - putting up signs, slapping on bumperstickers, talking to undecideds, volunteering, showing our Kerry Kit videos... but sometimes it just doesn't feel like enough. There are days that get me so angry that I feel a protest (and at times a RIOT) would be in order. Thoughts?
