the Fear Factor will eventually weigh in.... |
|
If Bush continues to slide in the polls. If Bush continues to look un-Presidential (as he did last night) in the debates. If Kerry continues the attack and hammers Bush in the debates on the facts. Look for a fresh "terror-alert" to sprout up to refocus potentially undecided voters.
Bush cannot continue to perform the way he did last night and expect to win the election. Kerry undressed Bush right before the nation's eyes about the non-connection between Iraq/Al-Qaida/9-11
The truth will set Kerry on the road to the White House but he must expose the lies that were told by this administration.
He should hammer home that the "same intelligence that I looked at" was the cooked intelligence provided by OSP. The cherry-picked, stove-piped intelligence.
In fact, the whole idea that there is something wrong with the "intelligence community" is a red herring. The problem was with the neo-con fascists looking for something, anything to point to - to wheel out in front of the American people and the Congress to launch a pre-packaged war on Iraq. The intelligence community did their job. It was the mis-use and abuse of intelligence that was the problem. All of the exculpatory/caveats were left out of the "intelligence" handed to Congress.
They lied. Bush should not only NOT be elected but IMPEACHED.

1. Repigs are already pushing the fear factor |
|
Before I could grab the remote, I heard a new commercial:
Ominous music. Shadowy pictures of hooded men. Voice over: THEY WANT TO KILL US. THEY'VE KILLED INNOCENTS IN RUSSIA. THEY'VE KILLED INNOCENTS IN IRAQ. THEY KILLED 3,000 INNOCENT AMERICANS...
then I killed it.
That's a sign of true desperation, IMHO.
