It is a definite must see by Danny Schecter, the filmmaker who produced and directed the film "Weapons of Mass Deception" which is another must see indictment of the media (he also prtoduced the "Ain't Gonna Play Sun City album and video with Stevie Van Zandt.

2. Schecter is a brilliiant analyst and an experienced activist

I haven't seen that film, but he was featured on "Orwell Rolls in his Grave" http://www.buzzflash.com/premiums/04/05/pre04014.html and he gets my vote for a "truthteller" award.

4. I was very impressed by his insights back in the anti-war movement

in Boston. Like many of us, he focused on one area and dedicated his life to making a difference. I moved to the other coast and lost track of individuals, but within the past few years have discovered how many of them have have continued the struggle and moved mountains. A couple of collectives I helped are still working for change, and people like Danny have accomplished remarkable things. The progressive movement today doesn't realize how much they owe Danny Schecter and others who have built the infrastructure that made the unprecedented turnout against the invasion of Iraq possible.
