Bush is gonna cheat cause he's gonna have to...
I think we all figure Bush was gonna cheat anyway (at least I do), but now I'm certain. He's going to cheat because he'll have to if he wants any chance of winning. I totally dismiss the polls - there has been story after story about huge numbers of new voter regs. I seriously doubt many of those new regs are because people just love Bush and want to vote for him. They're people who are sick of his crap and want him out. Moreover, do you know *anyone* who voted for Gore in 2000 but is voting for Bush now? If those same Gore voters turnout and we can swing a few 2000 Bushies to our side plus new voters...we've got in in the bag. That said, Bush is going to cheat because he'll have to.

What scares me is that now Bush is going to get desperate. We all know what happens when he gets desperate...wars get started, terror alerts get raised, Home Depot sells out of duct tape...

What do YOU think Bush will do next out of desperation?

1. I wouldn't be surprised at anything they do...
I honestly was convinced a while ago that they would use some made-up threat related to 'terra' to suspend elections, and that only if they didn't have enough Diebold voting machines in place to steal it.

Lately, though, I've been wondering if they really have the organization to pull this off. I guess we'll see!

2. I saw in another post where Wm. Pitt said he thinks Bush will back out of
the rest of the debates....I think that is quite possible...He will have an excuse which he thinks is plausible, but it would not surprise me to see him get out of them...He knows he is being exposed as inferior to Kerry!...

3. that would be a huge mistake
regardless of excuse, bush will be seen as shying away from a fight and that pretty much negates any advantage he may have enjoyed coming into the debate.
