I love Howard Dean!!!!
I was a hard core Dean supporter during the Primaries...I raised money for him, I worked hard for him.

I'm now a hard core John Kerry supporter, I've raised money for Kerry, and I'm working hard to get him elected. Kerry will be a fantastic President, and he will win in November! :bounce:

I'm watching Howard on CNBC with Russert. I am struck by what a class act he is. He is effusive in his compliments and support for Kerry, just like he said he would be. He is intelligent, knowlegable, and doesn't bullshit.

I hope there is a place for Howard Dean either in the Kerry administration, or as a leader in the DNC.

1. Absolutely agree, Dean is a solid warrior for Kerry, even after losing the
nomination to him. That takes a lot of class.

2. I'm still a Dean Democrat----Dean was very gracious in his loss to Kerry
and that shows something about Howard Dean that I've known all along, he puts the interests of the country first over his own personal interests. I still love the man very dearly, and I would love to see him as the head of the DNC. Go Howard Dean!

4. He's almost too good of a person to be a politician
He's smart, funny, warm, and he genuinely cares about making the country a better place.

21. Yes, that is what my husband just said after the show.
Almost his exact words. He cares more about the country than the office.

6. Talk about a straight talker
Howard rules. I loved his comment about bush taking us to war "spitting on our allies" as he did it.

When Kerry takes office in January, Dr. Dean needs to be there because he is a major reason the Democrats are so energized to beat bush.

I support John Kerry 100% and he is living up to the standard set by Dr. Dean. Keep on smacking bush around Senator, Dean is in your corner and so am I.

20. Interesting
If Jeffords doesn't declare as a Dem and runs as Ind, then who will Dems put up, and how will it split?

Appears that Dean could collect it.

10. He is the backbone of our Party.
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 07:04 PM by liberalnurse
He has such honor, integrity, insight.....it oozes from his pores.

He will continue to lead us into our future. Kerry needs to say thank you to Howard Dean after the election. Dean has made us strong and he did not blink when he had to take a back seat here.....

Oh, I'm watching it too.

11. I will always love Howard
I do NOT, however, want to see him as head of the DNC, as others do. Nor do I want him in the Kerry administration. I want him free to do what he said he was going to do -- change this party from the ground up and give the power back to the people. And then I want to see him President.

12. That was an hour of wonderful, clear conversation. Repeats at 10.
Russert let him talk, he talked. I am thinking how very rare hours like this are today.

Outstanding.

16. The very minute I first heard Dean speak ...
... I KNEW that I was hearing something I'd NEVER heard before from a politician Ñ straight talk, honest talk, heartfelt talk, and intelligent talk.

It was such a breath of fresh air!

Dean was the FIRST politician that I ever actually got out my checkbook and forked over for ... and I'm no spring chicken.

Oh, how I hope that he has some effective position in the KERRY ADMINISTRATION!

I still have so much love and respect for Dr. Dean. I too hope Kerry finds a place for him but if not, I know Dean will continue to work hard for our party and be the voice of reason, a true, honest voice.
