1. If Holbrooke and Condo go head to head.... |
|
I'd love to see that! Holbrooke is really strong on the shows lately!

with the new Newsweek polls, I think I'm actually going to enjoy Sunday morning. Let's see if Cokie can suck a lemon harder than Smirk did on Thursday!!!!!

6. ABC by default. (NBC might be entertaining since Coburn is nuts) |

CBS... ugh! watching campaign political types argue isn't much fun. I wish McCurry was out there instead of Lockhart who is good, but has some bad mojo lately.

9. Jennifer Granholm on "Fox Crapfest Sunday"? |
|
That's so beneath her. I'll probably suffer through it just to see her. Joe Lockhart is always a must see, and I'd like to watch Condi Rice to see if she has come up with an excuse for all the lying she did during the lead up to the war.

11. Excuse my ignorance on that one |
|
But why is it so important and who are the players?

12. This is one the Democrats may pick up which was unexpected |
|
Coburn is a Club for Growth Republican and is the incumbent, but he is behind in the polls. He walks in lock-step with BushCo in the Senate and keeps bringing religion into the election mix and is currently embroiled in a sterilization scandel. The NBC show is being billed in OK as a debate.

Coburn is not an incumbent. Don Nickles, the incumbent, is retiring. Coburn formerly held the congressional seat that Democratic nominee Brad Carson currently holds.

Sounds interesting. The Rebpub sounds like a nutjob. Not sure if you noticed it in the Lounge, but a few of us are meeting RationalRose Tuesday night in Hyde Park. Can you make it?
