I thought that taking physical for a president and a potential President |
|
was a must before an election...to find out if they are in good condition to be president...

1. Don't think it is required. |
|
Because last night (I think), CNN was showing the results of a poll where they asked people if the president should be required to take a yearly physical.

2. not a FORMAL requirement |
|
though it has always been something to note and report on, and anything that remotely reminds anyone of the president's mortality is a story.
usually the campaigns are eager to have the candidate take a physical and get some great press about how he's in great shape, has the blood pressure of someone 20 years his younger, etc., etc.
for shrub to skip the physical should indeed be a big story, ESPECIALLY given the skipped physical from the national guard days.
but our liberal media would never run that story....

3. Here's the meme, then: "What's wrong with Bush? Is he trying to hide... |
|
... some sort of medical problem?"
The voters have a right to know if a candidate has an illness that might prevent him from carrying out his duties as president.
The media should be (I know, I know) all over this.

|
