Condi seems to have vanished

Chimpy's foriegn policy golden girl seems to have vanished. Not seen on any post-debate shows trying to spin her pupil's performance. Kinda weird since the debate covered her turf, no advisor there to explain the "advise". I saw her get off the plane in Florida with chimpy and Karen Hughes for the debate, so we know she was there. Must have left town with a bag over her head or in disguise.

and explain the Bush administration's pre-911 policy of "not swatting flies" that she put forth to explain why Bush did absolutely nothing after receiving the August 6, 2001 briefing.

Well actually he did do something. Many in his administration did work the financial markets to their benefit I should clarify.

You know, it now makes sense why the FBI headquarters refused to issue search warrants for the field offices in Arizona and Minneapolis to investigate actions of those attempting to obtain flight training. Makes perfect sense if you do not want to "swat flies", but would rather let them have the first punch to infuriate the American people.

Then, after it all, promote those FBI people that prevented a full investigation that could have stopped 911, cold. And of course a full bonus was given also.

Well, there are many other things that also make perfect sense now, like why NORAD was unable to intercept.

The dumbing of the translation department within the intelligence community would be another interesting part of the "not swatting flies" policies. It is difficult to prevent a terrorist plot if you cannot read what they are planning.

And then to top it all, claim the reason 911 occurred was not because of the "not swat flies" policies. No, it was because the intelligence community was unable or unwilling to coordinate their activities. Thus, being able to pass laws that give the government far more authority over the people, than granted by the Constitution. Yes, the disaster we call 911 was caused by the Constitution hampering the efforts of the government agents, so they say.

Didn't Bush take and oath to uphold and protect the Constitution. I seem to remember myself taking this oath. Have things changed so much that we do not require all agents of the government to take a oath of fealty to the Constitution before becoming an agent working for the government?

Condi should elaborate more fully Bush's "not swat flies" policies. It did work, but not for America's benefit.
