What's up with the Oil for Food scandal |
|
and is it really a big deal?
I never watch network news anymore because I feel it has so much of a right-wing bias. My grandmother (Republican) keeps bringing this up because her TV now only seems to get Fox News. I get most of my news from DU, and feel I'm more informed on most things, but when she keeps bringing up this Oil for Food business I'm really at a loss. Obviously when I hear about it from her, there's a lot of bias I have to try to get past... can anyone here let give me a better summary of what's really going on?
Thanks

2. It's just a smear attack to discredit France and Kofi Annan |
|
..In EVERY NGO operation, there is a certain amount of "creative bookkeeping".. During the time that this was allegedly going on, Halliburton was selling to Iran, and Iraq, through their own French-Connection..
