from a freepturd thread:

God is not done with him (GWB)yet. God never leaves any thing half done. FOUR MORE YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a blessed man. So many Christians(millions) here in the USA and around the world praying for our President. If one can put ten thousand, how much more millions. ALLELUAH!!!!!!!!!! No weapon that hollyweird, Mike Moore, George Sorrow, terrorist, or any other evil force shall prosper against our President. We will see the GLORY of GOD!!!!!!!!

1. Hmm, now where is that thread where someone was whining
about people being too hard on xtians?

I'm 54 years old and I SWEAR, I have NEVER seen our country so completely fucked up by crazy people NEVER. Not even during Vietnam.

3. I am 51 and I agree
this is worse than Vietnam and Bush is worse than Nixon. Did you ever think we would have a prez worse than Nixon? Or that we would be willing to take Nixon back if we could get rid of the shrub.?

It's frickin unbelievable, isn't it?

5. I'd take Nixon over Smirk in a heartbeat
Watching this march to invade Iraq, was like re-living Vietnam all over again. I kept telling myself that people couldn't have forgotten that disaster so quickly, that people COULDN"T believe the horseshit about Saddam being involved in 9/11 or this crap about him being a threat.

Then I was in a bar the night the 'shock and awe' whoopte do started and watched people CHEERING as we bombed that country and I almost started crying in desperation. CHEERING as we bombed a country that has never done a damn thing to this country. Like a fucking football game.

I'm so disgusted with our citizens and our leadership. It is beyond belief what has happened here. I don't recognize america. I really don't

14. one of the guys on the C-Span panel today said that
one of the reasons this is worse than Vietnam is because it is in the heart of our economic interests (oil) in a way that Vietnam never was.

18. I'm 51 also...we are becoming irrelevant
and only Kerry can save us.

Did you see the story today that the Iraqis blame us for the killing of the 35 children yesterday? When is this nightmare going to be over?

4. Xtianity
may become the downfall of Democracy. The ideals of Democracy fly in the face of Xtian principals. Like you said, and I concur, I have never seen our country so completely fucked up by crazies. But I'm only 47.

9. No kidding
Can you imagine if the Ghost of the Future came to you as a kid and said:

"When you're grown up, Birchers and Holy Rollers will run the country. American Opinion bookstores will be gone because their tracts will be mainstream bestsellers. That insane preacher you laugh at on TV will be a worldwide media mogul. And see that Goldwater guy over there? You'll consider him a sane moderate."

I wouldn't have tried to warn a soul, so I could spend my remaining good years outside the booby hatch.

15. I've been saying this for years.
A famous in her day feminist, ex-communicated Mormon Sonia Johnson, warned about this, and about how liberal non-religious folks are tragically and dangerously ignorant of the way religion affects their lives because they are not religious so they 'think' it doesn't affect them. Maybe now that people see through the truth, we can make headway to shore up democracy against fanaticism. This may just be what it took to light a fire under people.

6. If god ain't done, god should put him back in the EZ-Bake oven.
He's all runny at the ears and mushy in the mouth.

4 more years of baking in the texas sun should be just about hot enough to ensure that we'll never have to deal with him again.

Pcat (the atheist)

7. One of my prayers is that
Bushco will screw up in public to the extent that the Fundies will recognize that he is NOT a Christian. God's not done with him yet, that part I can believe. I predict a slow roasting at an open fire...

8. Since I'm not one of those 'after-lifer' folks, I'd prefer to see him
tried for war crimes at the Hague.

Whatever floats your boat.

13. I always try to see the positive
But I cant see a single positive thing this president has done so far. He makes noises about being "inclusive" to minorities but has cut funding to every single government program for disadvantaged minorities there is. Ill bet he still has "lawn jockeys" at the pig farm in texass. I have to work 2 minimum wage jobs just to feed my kids. I just don't see him as on my side. The Democrats on the other hand are always willing to help out people in need. So what if some rich guy can only buy 3 Rolls Royce's this year instead of the 4 he wanted to get. I'm a part time receptionist at a small law office and while I really need the job it makes me crazy to see them fat cats driving new Lexus's or BMW's when I have to take the bus to work every day. They go on and on about the years they spent at law school to be lawyers but I think they just use that as an excuse to screw people like me. How do I explain it to my kids I cant buy them the nice fancy sneakers they want like the other kids have?
