Blew away a freeper at work (blue collar counters to repub memes) |
|
Buddy (yes buddy) of mine at work likes to spew some simplistic Limbaugh slogans and I have responses to two blue collar attacks. These are immature and childish but if like myself, you work in a blue collar environment they will work.
1. The arms in the air going back and forth with the stupid Flip-Flop chant.
Response: Hands on side of face, palms inward. Move them out and back in chanting "Tunnel Vision" and perhaps a good old "Can't See The Forest...".
2. John Kerry wants to take us back to September 10th.
Response: Actually, Bush wants to keep us forever in September 11th. Kerry is striving to take us forward to September 12th.

"I'd rather vote for a Flip Flopper than a deceiver of the American people." That one usually puts them in their place. If not, then I do my Bush is no Republican rag. That one pisses them off because it threatens their GOP core. I remind them of GOP values like smaller Government, less intrusive Government, States rights, anti nation building foreign policy to name a few. I remind them that Bush now reigns over the largest government in US history, that under Bill Clinton, the size of our government was actually reduced. I tell them now that Bush has ceded power of government to the corporations, our tax burden now has to support their profit base as is the case with his 500+ billon prescription drug bill. Whats strange is that these types don't even know what the traditional values of their party are. They get all squeamish and hostile at times, but usually they simply get quiet. Thats my goal, nothing more. Get them quiet and that way they are unable to infect the minds of the sheep that they attempt to convert.

9. If he or she is under 35... |

"So, you like hot, dry climates do you?"
or, if they have teenagers, remind them that the kids will be drafted instead. And, of course, their kids and their grandkids will be paying for the Bush regime.
