I hate Bush, but Kerry appears so damn weak!!!
OMG - That's what I've been hearing from everyone over the past few weeks. The last person to say this to me was my boss and there was a rather heated conversation between him and myself in the middle of my office. What was I thinking? I then promised him I would send him information on Kerry's amazing background and also decided to send it off to everyone else to try to help people understand Kerry has so much more to offer than just being our ABB.

After the debate, I pointed out to my boss that if John Kerry aggressively defended all the attacks on him as they happened, not only would it fall on deaf ears thanks to our poor media, but the Kerry team would be again openly exposed to Rove. Instead Kerry appeared a little weak on these non-important issues, so that's what Bush's team prepared him for in the debate. Remember, Bush can't think on his own! What a surprise when Kerry had the full audience and no editing options allowed, he successfully challenged these idiotic claims, leaving Bush speechless and his continuous ridiculous rhetoric lost all its potency, leaving him looking like the ass he is. Kerry may appear to have held back in this campaign when given obviously clear opportunities, but it might be because he knew they were traps and he apprached them with caution, as a great leader would do. He seems too smart to fall victim to their traps, giving them the political advantage now.

I'm tickled pink that this man of honor knows how to survive in the most vicious political forum, the 2004 Presidential Campaign. He's won my respect.

YEAH!!! VOTE JOHN KERRY!

2. So what? This person is thinking for THEMSELVES...
They don't NEED some Bushevik on TV to tell them WHAT TO THINK.

How about you?

3. I thought the first reply meant the poster hadn't heard

anyone say "I hate Bush* but Kerry seems so weak" AFTER seeing Kerry in the debate, i.e., people saw Kerry is not weak in the debate.

(You seem annoyed with the reply so I'm sharing how I read it, FWIW.)

Good night, all! :hi:

Kerry is KICKING ASS!!! :kick:

8. I'm still hearing that Kerry didn't pursue golden opportunities
at the debate, but the same people are also starting to realize this may be what keeping him politically alive in this election.

4. Bush Is The Weak One!
He hid from serving our country then committed our troops to serving. You want to talk about weak, Bush is the posterchild.

7. I watched the debate with a anti-Kerry ABBer. She, a Clark supporter
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 02:17 AM by fearnobush
was a changed woman after the debate. I myself was shocked at her reaction. Through my eyes, Kerry won, but I thought he could have done much better. And thats what I told her after the debate. Her response was the exact the opposite. She was totally amazed by Kerry, shocked and wowed. She said that she was very impressed and that Kerry talked her language.
As with many people and ABBers, my friend had fallen victem to the Rove spin and our sheep media. I made several attempts in the past to convince her that Kerry was the man, but she balked - until Thursday's debate. She asked me for the Kerry lawn sign I offered a month ago.
This is an example of what happens when the people get to see the real John Kerry. Until the debate, the John Kerry we the people have been fed by are media was the bad Kerry. The flip flop Kerry, the SBVT Kerry, the no Senate record Kerry. All media GOP talking pointed John Kerry bad Kerry.

For once, the people got to see what we here at DU and other blogs have been saying all along. John Kerry Rocks!!!

10. Tin makes more noise than steel.
Shooting off the mouth isn't strength. Hiding in an elementary school on 9/11 and the running for a deep hole in Nebraska isn't strength. Sending others to die for your LIES isn't strength.

The willingness to take on the mess and try to clean it up is strength. Quiet resolve is strength.

A single mother working to care for her child(ren) has more strength and courage in a single hair follicle than the Smrking coWard has in his entire waste-of-protoplasm carcass.
