News media has been lying about Bush's "strength" for 4 years. The public
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 09:50 AM by blm
is now seeing with their OWN eyes that this propped-up-by-the-media Emperor has no clothes.

I think the media who has participated in propping up the dictatortot by LYING to the American people all these years, allowing them to be DUPED into going into a war based on lies, will be noted.

They will go down in history as panderers to a criminal regime. I think that is also why they will keep desperately masking Bush's weak minded but hammerheavy criminal governance. If they can get him back in office, they have a better chance of knocking off the truth-tellers and rewriting history.

They should all be ashamed, but, they HAVE no shame. They don't CARE about honesty. They have proven that they care only for their own bank accounts and NOT the integrity of journalism.

1. mainstream journalism has not cared about journalistic integrity
since the evolution of infotainment, which is when 'news' stopped by journalistic and started being tabloid hype and propaganda.

And I fully agree with you that the 'news' outlets that parroted BushCo's invasion are guilty by their act of empowering these lies to become 'truth'.

2. My local Scripps Howard RW rag blocked my e-mails when I chided
them for failing to live up to their creed to "shed light" on the man, pre-emptive war lacking UN sanction, and the torture of prisoners.

3. "Emperor has no clothes."
I wish I had a photo of a naked man to photoshop Bush's head onto with a crown. Surely someone has done this by now.

5. So true.
Friday, the day after the debate, a friend of mine said to me, "I had NO IDEA that John Kerry was SO intelligent! I have NEVER heard him speak about the issues like that. He really knows what he's talking about." I explained to her that that was exactly the way the media wanted it. They don't want you to see Kerry in all his glory because the chimp would lose the election.

The media sucks. When CNN went to the dark side, I knew it was over for us. When MSNBC fired Phil Donahue, the HIGHEST RATED SHOW ON THEIR NETWORK, I knew we were finished. When CBS decided not to run the investigative report on the FL. purged voters by Greg Palast because...THEY CALLED JEB BUSH AND JEB BUSH SAID IT WASN'T TRUE, I knew it was all over for our country.

Kerry will have to make "fixing the media" an issue when he's elected. The FCC cleaned out, no lobbyists allowed in congress, no FAUX NEWS journalits allowed as part of his WH press...they aren't a REAL news network! and BRING BACK THE FAIRNESS IN MEDIA DOCTRINE!

THE MEDIA NEEDS AN ENEMA!!!!! :hi:

6. This was the first time media has allowed us to really see Kerry & Bush
Despite all the debate rules being set up to favor Bush, he faltered and could not manage to look 'Presidential' while Kerry proved he was strong and confident enough to rise to the occasion under tremendous pressure under the scrutiny of tens of millions of viewers around the world. No wonder the after-debate spin doctors are working so hard to paint Kerry as weak on foreign affairs so that viewers will change their initial opinions on his debate performance.
