BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi police found the bodies of a man and a woman who are believed to be Westerners south of Baghdad, an Iraqi hospital official said Sunday.

The official said that man's body was decapitated and his hands were tied behind his back. The woman, who had blonde hair, had been shot in the head, the official said.

Police found the bodies Saturday near Yusufiya, about 13 miles (20 km) south of Baghdad. Both of the bodies, which appeared to have light skin color, were brought to a hospital in Mahmudiya later in the day.

The bodies have not been identified

7. Strange. Wonder if the reports of missing US personnel in Iraq are

being hidden from us? I haven't seen any regarding a missing woman anywhere. Did I miss something, or are we being duped by the Pentagon? Could it have been an aid worker? If so, why no report about that?

Oh hell, who knows. There's no way we could possibly know the truth about what's happening over there. Like there's been no news release about US casualites in the battle for Samarra.

The press, if it had any legitimacy at all, should be screaming their heads off about this. Their job is to inform (truthfully and honestly), and they have become useless because they don't do just that. An honest press would be demanding accurate and truthful reports about the situation in Iraq. All they really seem interested in is covering for the bush* administration and their screw ups.
