When was last time bin Ladin did a video? |
|
Anyone know?
I know his first lieutenant did one not so long ago that referred to a recent Iraq event, so the world knew it wasn't an old video. But it's been awhile since bin Ladin's been heard from, hasn't it?
If Bushie had bin Ladin in captivity, wouldn't Al Qaeda say so, so everyone would hold Bush accountable for his well being, and also, to let Bush's opposition know? Then again, they haven't shown that they are very smart at strategy.

2. Freepers are convinced |

he hasn't done a video because he's dead. But even the administration says they think he's alive. I think he gains no advantage from a video; he's better off with people wondering if he's dead or alive. I sort of feel the same about why we haven't had another terrorist attack. Why should they risk their money and people trying to attack us again, when a large percentage of the population is freaked out enough just wondering when and where they will hit us next. They're terrified that some radical Islamist is gonna invade their child's school in Bodunk, Indiana, or that their craft fair in rural Georgia will be hit by a suitcase nuke, and they're terrified by the terror alerts. Bush and Ashcroft are doing bin Laden's work for him.

3. Oh, they think he's dead? Well, I think we haven't had another |
|
attack because the plans aren't finished. The 2001 plans took years to plan, and that's when we were totally unprepared for it. It could take a good 10 years to plan the next one.
Also....they're busy with Iraq. Not because it is the "center of the war on terrorism." It's because, Damn! They've got a good shot (thanks, Mr. Bush) at getting control of a large wealthy country with the world's 2nd largest oil reserves. They didn't expect to get such a chance! So they may be concentrating on that as a primary objective, with the plans to strike the U.S. as a secondary objective. Not that they are giving up the secondary objective; it might just take a little longer. Plus, it'll help to wait, til we let our guard down a bit more.

7. I beg to differ. it doesn't take years to buy a plane ticket or take some |
|
flying lessons.
And it was planned by the PNAC. Al queda had no involvement in 911, and never took credit for it.

8. There is evidence Al Qaeda started planning the 9/11 strikes in |
|
the mid-1990s. There is no evidence that Iraq, Saddam Hussein, or the PNAC had any involvement.
I like to rely on facts and evidence.

ISI is a good start.
Facts and evidence are plentiful, you just have to rely on reality and not white house lies and fanciful conjecture.
Like the fact that 10 of the 19 hijackers are still alive and completely misidentified, yet no effort was made to figure out who they really were.

That single did OK on TRL, but the CD didn't sell.
He's been playing small venues in Europe and the mideast, no word yet on a US tour.

6. Bin laden died on Dec 21 2001 and it was reported by several middle |
|
east newspapers.
His last interview was October 8, 2001, the one that was released in December 2001, where DC officials claim HE claimed credit for 911, but in fact, he vehemently denied involvement, but only knowledge it was going to happen.
He died from pnuemonia, and complications from kidney disease.
