How is Gerry Ferraro?
I have not heard anything about her in a while. Anyone know how she is doing?

I just came across her book in my boxes and have been reading it.

Gerry is the reason I got active in politics.

1. Me, too!
I hope she is well. I miss seeing her around. Another face I miss is Pat Schroeder.

2. I love Pat Schroeder!
I'd love to be able to send Gerry an e-mail or letter.

She's been so heavy on my mind since I found her book.

GERRY! GERRY! GERRY!

7. Have to admit I miss Schroeder, even more than Ferraro
she just always struck a chord with me. Wish we could get both of them back into the political limelight.

3. Poor Gerry is a Faux News contributor
which means she has to talk to Hannity sometimes and that ghoulish wench John Gibson.

I think she came out of her cancer thing A-OK...and she's still a strong, resolute democratic voice (not at all like the mealy-mouthed fake liberals on that station).

4. Go Gerry!
I'd love to contact her. Does she have an e-mail address at Fox?

6. She'd had blood cancer

Story ran on Tuesday, June 19 2001
NEW YORK (AP) - Former Rep. Geraldine Ferraro, the Democratic Party nominee for vice president in 1984, is battling blood cancer.

Ferraro was diagnosed with multiple myeloma after a routine physical in December 1998. The blood cancer erodes the bones and leads to death within five years for half of those with the illness.

Ferraro, 65, disclosed her illness in a New York Times interview published today and a "Today" show interview. She said she feels fine right now and doesn’t want anyone to feel sorry for her.

8. Oh, dear!
Thanks for the info. Multiple myeloma can be bad business.
