"The remaining 25 per cent refused to answer or said they didn't know."

Why would you "Refuse" to answer?

People are funny..and sometimes uniformed so they wouldn't have an opinion.

3. I knew it! I was in Canada this
summer and I got nothing but smiles and favorable comments on my Kerry/Edwards pin!

"Mr. Kerry's strongest support in Canada came from Quebec, where 69 per cent of respondents said they preferred the challenger, compared with only 11 per cent who favoured Mr. Bush."

THis is cute..the French Canadians prefer Kerry the most:D

5. Vancouver Island's pro-Kerry
The Times-Colonist has been blabbing all over town about Kerry hiring a local guy as his aide and confidante -- I think they're entertaining hopes of a Kerry presidential visit to the Pacific Northwest, with us included. (He's 6'7", and is probably one of the few people on the campaign team who looms over JK.)

6. Maybe that was the guy I was asking who
..it was at the Kissimmee, Florida rally on Friday!

He was walking everywhere with Kerry and he loomed over him in a very good way!

He was so cute!:D

Thanks for this.

Thanks for the name..I was quite taken with the whole scene!

13. Thanks for sharing this
and I liked learning a few interesting tidbits about Kerry. I knew he liked the PB&J sandwich's but not the other stuff. :)

8. I'm Canadian
And though I'm not exactly "pro" Kerry, I certainly am pulling for him to win this election.

10. Trumad posted this article from Toronto Star
www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x957086

I sent her an email:

Dear Ms. Zerbisias:

Thank you so much for writing the truth regarding the American media's inability to unchain themselves from the right-wing spin machine. The debate was historical in that Mr. Bush finally showed the American people that he cannot respond to an unscripted question, cannot put a coherent sentence together, and very obviously can only repeat rehearsed "sound bites".

I only wish that we had American journalists who are as committed to ethical journalism as you.

Keep up the good work! It was a pleasure reading your article.

Stillwater, OK
USA

and got this reply:

Teresa (and I hope to see that other one in the White House soon!!)

Every letter like yours makes up for the 100 hate e-mails I get from your Bush-loving compatriots. Many thanks.

Antonia

12. Wow, I can't believe Martin said those things
I'm not surprised he thought them, just that he voiced them in an interview. I guess he figures that bilateral relations will not improve at all unless there is a regime change. Hopefully, we'll all get one.
