A question to ask Bush: How could there NOT be a draft?
Bush is going to have to draft just to keep troop levels at their existing levels in Iraq.

Here's hoping John Kerry hits on this HARD.

1. Does Bush really give a damn about the troop levels...
or anything for that matter?

2. Kerry needs to
bring up all the Stop-Losses and the Re-Ups of people who have already served. Say it Loud And Clear, RIGHT NOW THERE IS A BACKDOOR DRAFT IN EFFECT. How much longer till an actual draft ?

3. He'd better stay away from this subject. But I'd bet that Bush will
bring it up.

It is the DEMS who have introduced two bills calling for the draft. And the draft will draft privileged kids, not just the middle class, who are Kerry's base. That's what Bush will say. If Kerry says that Bush will HAVE to use the draft, then that logic could apply equally to him. It's a no-win argument for Kerry.

Personally, I think Bush is more likely to use the draft, since his methods (same ol' same ol') will require more troops than we have. But I think the public may not believe that.

he calls for 40,000 new troops , he is not going to ever mention the Draft!!! The repugs are all ready for this, they are waiting to spring the Trap on him if he does.

5. I would also ask him if he supports Justice Scalia's position...
on sexual orgies. If you think he had a meltdown last week, wait til someone asks him that!

6. Right. With 9 of 10 of our troops in Iraq, what if we're attacked again?
Where will we get the troops to fight on a new front? Of course, Kerry won't bring it up because that would telegraph our ill-preparedness to the world as if they don't already know. Of course * repeatedly told the world in 2000 that our military was ill prepared and of course they said, "Oh yeah. You know that plan that we've been working on for the past few years. I think now is the time to use it."
