supporter. The tide is turning. When Imus makes such an unconditional statement, it means he's sure that he's in line with his audience and his next four years are secure.

I haven't listened to Imus for awhile but when I did he made it clear that he wasn't voting for Bush. He also sounded like he'd vote for Kerry but reluctenly so. Who knows what the hell Imus really stands for?

there are three groups in politics: those who always vote for you; those who always vote against you; and the undecided. In order to reach the third group, you need to speak a language they understand. I'll venture that not only are more of the "undecideds" watching Imus than reading DU, but that he speaks the language they understand. Kerry will get a significant boost from the Imus show, and he knows it -- that's why he is a more frequent guest on that show than any other. Note that edwards was on last Thursday, and called in on Friday.
Regarding his "million dollar ego," Imus just challenged NYS OPR&HP director Bernadette Castro to bet $1 million on the Bush-Kerry race. She would only bet $10,000. Imus took the bet.

Shrieking about how Bush MUST BE ELECYED! or the world will end or something; demonizing Kerry without going into detail why! She gave Imus a big fight over his support for Kerry and scolded him! Imus stood firm though, thank the lord!

Pathetic that she brought her 1960s record and photos of herself with the Beatles to show just before she started campaigning for Bush. I liked that she refused the $1 million bet.
