2. Cheney, like Bush, is used to lying to his carefully screened audiences
of robots and receiving applause. He is also used to debating a toothless mole like Lieberman. In Edwards, he is going head to head with a trained attorney used to arguing his cases to skeptical judges.
To add to Rove's fears, Edwards is young, articulate, folksy and clearly a people person showing empathy for people.Cheney,is a mean spirited windbag, used to repeating lies without fear of being contradicted.

Cheney will be down in two.( I mean in minutes, not in rounds like Muhammad Ali used to predict for his opponents).

3. Not only that but reporters who don't want to ask critical questions and
then what questions they do ask they don't follow up on when theres a glaring discrepancy.

8. Cheney's not at all like shrub!
Yes, he's deceptive, mean, arrogant, and deceiptful, but he's at least intelligent! It's not going to be possible to make him look stupid. I think Edwards' best option is to piss him off! Get him visably angry.

4. Cheney must lie for were he to tell the truth, Bush-Cheney would suffer
a loss of monumental proportions, the most lopsidded in our history.

5. Even if Cheney doesn't lie in debate, Edwards needs to attack his lies

Even if Cheney doesn't tell a huge whopper in the debate, I hope Edwards pins him down and exposes some of his previous public lies.

6. If he runs into trouble at the debate, he'll just try Plan C
...which is to clutch his chest and fall to the ground. He'll try to go for the sympathy vote.

7. Cheney can't speak without lying
I just hope Edwards doesn't aid and abet Cheney the way Lieberman did in 2000.
