Poll question: Are you wearing a "Livestrong" wristband?
I've had mine since July but since Kerry's been wearing one (I hear Lance supports JK) I figure ALL of you should be sporting one by now?

1. I know they're for a good cause
but I don't understand why you must wear a badge of honor to show the world that you contributed to a good cause. Why isn't the contribution an honor enough?

3. Because it becomes a conversation piece and people will
say to you "where can I get one?" and then they make a contribution and so on and so on...

7. How about here? You might want to order more than one - they can
snap or stretch after a while

10. I understand the biblical concept of donating without telling
people, but this is more of a spread the message thing. I have a lot of people ask me about mine and then ask where to get one. It is different that doing a charitable work or making a donation and then being boastful about it.

5. I had one but I broke it
My wife is getting me another one.

I was trying to stretch it out so it wasn't too tight and the third time I tried it broke and the remote went flying into the wall.

Sad.

9. No. In fact, I know nothing about it.
I've seen the band on Kerry's arm, but never knew what it was for. What is LIVESTRONG?

15. Yes. I'm a cancer survivor, so it's a little closer to home for me...
I appreciate the work of Lance's foundation, and if a silly "fashion statement" helps spread a positive message and brings in a bit of $$$ for a good cause, it's worth it, IMO.

What bothers me are the eBay sellers hawking these yellow bands -- they just make a profit, with no money going to the foundation.

17. No, but I've seen plenty of folks with them.
And they worked. I finally asked someone what it was all about. I didn't care enough to buy one of my own though.

And from the sounds of things--they aren't that well made anyways.
