Great story on The Jim Lehrer Newshour. Military family where the dad served in vietnam, mom is a military brat, and son-in-law is serving in Iraq. So the parents have started protesting and seeking answers to their questions.
The reporter talked to the son-in-law over the phone and he said that the men he serves with are frustrated that the president* lied to them. And they know that people are really stating to speak up. He also said that he knows that they support us . We're not dumb...we know"

. . . quite a few "educated" people who say this and worse. I have people tell me seriously that NK can go ahead and blow up California because they don't care. They're being serious. Some people have been indoctrinated so much they can't tell the difference between trees and trousers.

Intelligent. These people who spout such crap are not intelligent in any sense of the word. They also think Bush* is a great thinker and on equal par with Da Vinci. They are obviously missing a bit of what it takes.
