1. This is a GOOD Poll to DU... Let's Keep it Kicked! |
|
It could be as important to the PR effort we did after the debate.
Thanks for the heads up

30. WASTE OF TIME: This "Poll" Can NOT be DUed... |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-05-04 04:29 AM by MarkTwain
... unless I'm missing something, once you input your choices, you are shown ONLY a static (non-changing) comparison with the actual Gallup sample taken October 1-3.
Meaning, you can vote three million times affirmatively for Kerry in any of the four questions and you are NOT ever going to see any change reported in the "results" since the online input to these questions is NOT what is being reported; just your own response compared to that sample. Any effort to "DU" this "poll" is wasted since it is NOT a poll in the first place.

35. Maybe they are comparing online knowledge |
|
With their poll.
It seems like a real poll with its own tabulation to me.

7. I just read the fine print at the top. |
|
This survey is already completed. Probably using their "balanced" sampling methods. After all, look whose it is.
<snip>
NOTE: Thank you for participating in this online survey. Please note that your answers do not affect the results shown on the site. All data shown are from statistically reliable Gallup telephone surveys that have already been conducted. This survey is not intended to provide a summary of public opinion. The results will not be tabulated or used in any way. Rather, this provides you a chance to compare your opinions with those of the U.S. public, as reflected in telephone interviews conducted October 1-3, 2004, with 1,016 national adults, aged 18+. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

I believe that they are still taking opinions on this survey, otherwise they would have closed it and not emailed it out to survey members.

This poll has already been done. You aren't voting for anything, you're just comparing your answers with Gallup's bullshit skewed phone poll.
