So, now they say we won't show up to vote.
I say, "Dream on, Lost Ones. The Party is over."

1. Translated: "I refuse to bear the shame of voting for Bush but I can't
vote for a real man because I myself am a coward who refuses to face the facts"

3. Oh, I was just watching Debra Norville earlier tonight and they were
discussing the huge numbers of voter registrations this election, but they kept caveating it with "will all these new voters even show up." Well, I guess we'll all have to wait and see, but I have a feeling it's going to be the highest voter turnout ever. Just my opinion.

5. Why would they register if they weren't going to vote?
You know, if I did my job anywhere near as half-assed as these fucking "journalists" do theirs, my ass would get fired!

12. I gotcha...
My question is why would people be "rushing" to register if they didn't plan on voting? I think this is a good sign for us.

4. Like hell we won't! If I were on my deathbed, I'd have myself rolled into
my polling place. And all of my friends and colleagues feel the same.

9. For what its worth...
I live in Indiana and the news reports are saying record numbers of people have registered to vote. Of course this is a Fascist leaning state, but I have a funny feeling things may just change this time around! Mitch "The Bitch" Daniels, Bush's former budget director is running for Guv against the very popular Joe Kernan-D, who smoked Daniels' ass in a debate at Franklin college last week. Dems have ruled the statehouse the last 16 years...and I don't think "Our Friend from Washington", as Joe called him, is gonna make any difference! Go Joe...:bounce:

11. I am an absentee voter
who is seriously weighing early voting. I want to make sure that I can hand my ballot to another human at King County Elections.

I will vote this year as long as there is breath in my body. I could be bleeding from every pore and I will STILL VOTE, as will the rest of DU, every family in America with young adult sons and daughters, the unemployed, the disenfranchised, those who know what it's like to realize that they not only can't get health care for themselves, they can't get it for their kids. Females will vote. Men who want a change will vote. Every American who feels lied to will vote.

Get ready for it, Republicans. November 3rd will be the stuff of your worst nightmares.

Julie
