Right now-Listening to Mike Malloy for the first time. He has a nice |
|
smooth voice, and so far I'm liking him. Now if we could just put him on in the mornings instead of those turkeys that are on there now...

1. Marc Maron? He's COOL. You gotta have irreverance. |
|
each to his own. Randi is for those "outraged to the max" people. Al Franken for folks who want standard show with good interviews and some fun....Marc Maron has some hilarious bits.

5. I agree about Morning Sedition -- it's a fine show |
|
The Marks are all about having a "shock jock" liberal alternative, and they do it with a lot of style. At first, I didn't like it much, but it grew on me -- real fast.
Malloy is very serious stuff, even when he's funny. He's best savored later in the day, like a stiff drink.

2. Oh no! Not Malloy in the morning! |
|
He can get really intense, and I don't think I could handle him in th emorning!
He seems like a night person to me.

4. I like them all. I think the AM crew is good too. |
|
Different styles. Have to admit though my personal favorites are Mike and Randi. I fall asleep listening to him. Bought my mom Sirius so she could hear Mike. She adores him now. She gets to stay up late to listen, and is always saying "did you hear what Mike said last night?".

6. you just wait until Mike gets worked up |
|
and you start wondering if he's going to pop a clot and die right there in the booth. It happens every night. Malloy is the best talk show host on the air today.

7. I think Mike prefers the late evening |
|
He said as much when he was on IE America. It's probably the best time of the day where you can hear most of the show. You're not busy with daily responsibilities and all is quiet by the time he comes on...at least here on the East coast. :D

8. Who remembers *'s mistake during the debate? |
|
I thought to myself when he said this.."only a person who was informed about the details of the coming attack on September 10 would call it a pre-9/10th mentality."
I completely forgot about this until Mike brought it up. The press never gave a f*ck about these mistakes, unless Kerry said it! :argh:
