1. Dave's being a kind of a jerk tonight |

he should just shut up and listen. It's like he got bitten by some sort of conventional wisdom bug.

3. Why is Dave doing that? |
|
Sometimes I can't figure David Letterman out. Most of the time I get the impression he's for Kerry and other times like this I'm not so sure.

5. Letterman is an asshole |

He's always been an asshole. Cher had him pegged years ago...

But Dean is handling him pretty well!
Dave could be doing a much better hosting job!

He always plays devil's advocate when he has political types on.

2. Yep, Dave's got his "I'm a Dick" hat on tonight! |
|
What the hell is his problem tonight????
Basically saying no matter who's elected we're screwed?
People like him drive me crazy.

7. I think Dave's just giving Dean a chance to attack Bush |
|
In other words, I think he's just playing Devil's Avocate.

12. Dave is a big democrat, he was playing devil's advocate |
|
and he truely is interested in the future of our soldiers.
First and foremost Dave cares about the military.

He wasn't my guy in the primaries but I have always had the greatest respect for him! He did a great job tonight.
I hope our party gets their head out of their asses and puts this man to work for us! He is an asset that we shouldn't squander!

15. I second that! He did a great job here and on quite a few shows |
|
in the last week! I don't thenk Kerry is going to let him get away. I can't even say which job would be the best offer. He really is good in many areas.

This is the reason I stopped watching Letterman years ago, back in the day, I loved his uniqueness but that has disappeared. He treated Dean like an alien from Mars, does Dave not know WTF is happening?

He was asking questions! Something the press doesn't do anymore.
