1. Don't you know...

The Bushies don't want to see this stuff... Their minds are too damn beautiful!

2. don't worry
he sees on the tv screen what hard work it is. Besides, his favorite story is about people who have lost their hands. Perhaps this soldier would be willing to scrawl "God Bless America" for a photo op with bush... or perhaps not.

3. I have this picture saved under the name of "1kstare"
Edited on Tue Oct-05-04 09:22 AM by rocknation

As a part-time rock journalist, I got an album which contained a song titled "Thousand Yard Stare." The band's press release explained that the title referred to the way returning Viet Nam vets could look right at you but seem to be focusing on something far behind you. When I came across this pic MSNBC.com, I thought about the song immediately.

4. The photos are simply heartbreaking.
The rage I feel toward the chicken-hawks is indescribable. I'm sending this to all my repug friends. Maybe it will wake them up to what a cowardly group we have in the White House, but I'm not holding my breath.

5. The really amazing thing is
that some of those guys still have smiles on their faces, despite everything they've been through.

And honestly, I don't think it would make any difference at all if sissyboy spent a whole day looking at those photos. He really, really just DOESN'T CARE. All the oil profits are worth a few mangled bodies, right?

7. Here's an article about the ones who returned alive, but...
disabled, in pieces, covered in scars, http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/20080

They're but a shadow of their former selves. Their lives are destroyed, some with no hope of complete recovery. :-(

This is why Mr. Bush* won't let the dead or wounded be seen, so he won't have to answer for it.
