The Media/Attitude Days Before War
Edited on Tue Oct-05-04 11:12 AM by DougieZero
I saved some radio shows a few days into the Iraq War... I'll post some more clips later so we never forget.

Day after Oscars - Ed McMahon gets political.

He certainly has come full circle.

He also bash's Michael Moore, and Hollywood in general, heavily. Has he had Moore on since he's changed his tune? I know he's had Franken on often, and got along great with him.

He and his co-host were also speaking about Iraq as if it perpetrated 9-11.

I know Stern was caught up in the "war fever" many people were, and admittedly was expressing a visceral reaction to Iraqis dancing around a downed U.S. helicopter. He was in that struggling phase trying to understand "why don't they like us"? Many people have to go through that phase.

The Bushies would call what Stern has done "flip-flopping".
It's really called "waking up".

But strong stuff.
