Nixon movie

Last night I saw the movie "Nixon" one of the "True movie" networks. It was an interesting movie and I liked it and a lot of what happened then seemed very familiar. Almost like dejavu. Do you think Bush has two sides like Nixon? I felt bad for his wife though. :( The movie made it seem like people killed JFK so Nixon could get office. Does anybody know about that? I'm sure it'll be on again soon. They usually rotate movies around so it should be playing in a view days again.

Interesting film though. I never really knew what to make of the implications made around Kennedy, but the portrayal of Nixon was fascinating (I find him a fascinating character actually, perhaps comes from growing up in the 70s).

2. Fascinating movie, work of genius...

unfortunately, Oliver Stone inserted fictional characters and set up imaginary scenes, meetings, conversations, etc., to make the thing more entertaining. In one scene, he had Larry Hagman more or less portraying J. R. Ewing. Great entertainment, but not exactly good history. Though I must say I LOVED his treatment of J. Edgar Hoover.
Anthony Hopkins could portray a wet mop and make it entertaining. What an incredible actor he is.
