she first implies that he was, basically, a communist and then says that he went to vietnam to be killed by the guys he sided with

she then in caps write WAIT-I'M, ON YOUR SI-bang!

if that side-splitting bit didn't crack you up, then the following bit will

she then quotes dean in an interview talking about how his brother's death made him realize the importance of always telling your loved ones how much you care about them

she then ridicules him as trying to 'get the vote of the lifetime network's audience"

never mind that dean was making these comments in light of his brother's body beind found after 30 years. never mind that he was sincerely dealing withe the loss of an immediate family member

it's truly fucking disgusting

my other observation is that the book is an unfocused mess. normally, as much as I hate Ann, there's a point to her books, even though it's an asinine dishonest one

this book jumps from topic to topic and goes off on weird tangents in midchapter as she tries to deal with her perceived persecution. her attempt to set the record straight with franken is just an incoherent mess

and then there's the bizarre, constant use of switching to capitol letts constantly. this may work if you're writing howard stern's book or writing for your teenage journal, but if you're the supposed intellectual ann claims to be, it just shows a total lack of professionalism

so, basically, the book is just what you'd expect from our clyesdale-faced demagogue
