Tonight is the first night of shooting league shooting at the local indoor range. Needless to say, the W04 stickers, the BC04 stickers, the huge BC04 sign on the wall outside, etc etc will dwarf lil' ol' me with my black sports car and KE04 bumper stickers. Last time I was there the joint was empty but you could smell the scorn from the other shooters ... tonight the place will be packed.

I'm their worst nightmare ... a pissed-off, armed, liberal :D

or bet on who would win between Bush and Kerry in a shooting match. Or which one they'd prefer watching their back in a foxhole.

After all, it is a shooting competition, not a political rally. You share the same hobby. Alas, common ground! Besides, if they are focused on anything else besides shooting, they are not fully prepared to compete. Don't fall into the same trap.

:evilgrin: And I think the 2nd amendment is actually more in danger from the next Republican administration than from any Democratic one. It's a control thing, and you know how John Ashcroft thinks. You'll have to sign a loyalty oath to have a gun.
