I'm falling in love with John Kerry.
I was a Deaniac during the primary campaigns, then voted Kucinich once Dean left the race. Kerry wasn't even my third choice...maybe not even my fourth.

But now I'm getting a serious case of hero worship going on here, most likely because he crushed the shrub in the debate and I see him as our hero. Getting him elected is the most important thing. God, I hope he rolls back some of this fascist shit.

Help me, Senator John Kerry, you're my only hope.

5. I've been hot for him for months, no...years.
I met him at, I think, the first Earth Day in Boston. Better in person.

3. Have you seen going up river. I swear that took me back,I cried remember
ing that insane time. And here we go again. I think if Pubs had had to fight in Nam they would not be so willing to do this. Kerry looks a lot like my Ex when he came home. I love Kerry because he speaks for what is in my heart.

4. In my heart, I think Kerry is a genuinely good guy.
I usually don't think that way about politicians, Repug or Dem. Maybe its becuase I'm seeing the stark contrast, but I have a good feeling about Kerry.

6. Go and see Going Upriver, a documentary about Kerry in VN
and afterwards, trying to end the war. The man is more than a statesman; he is a man of incredible integrity.

9. Something men never realize....
SMART is super-sexy. Sometimes you see the weirdest looking nerdy guy with a beautiful woman, and you just shake your head. But, most women find great intelligence in a man really sexy. Uh, maybe it's just me.

18. Nope, not just you.
I met a guy on a whale-watching boat. After the trip, we went to a restaurant and talked about philosophy, mostly Nietzsche. OH! MY! GOD! I had it bad for him, would have gone back to his motel had he asked. :)

10. Kerry has a rock-star-like quality.
He's got a huge following of people who worship the ground he walks on. Just look at the people who swoon at his speeches from over-exposure to the sun.

11. I admire him for his gonads
He must have a nice giant set of family jewels down there to go head to head against the most evil man on the planet and slap him down like that.

I wanted to kiss Kerry during the debate... on the cheek, not the gonads...

worry about a draft. . . I think we're in good
shape, I really do. And, if not, we'll -- I'll address
the nation
. But I don't see any need to right now."

He damn sure must have a huge set, but not as big as Bill's set, not by a long shot. I wish we could have Bill instead of John. Talk about churchbell balls.

13. I'm in Love Too!!
I'm really beginning to dig him, and I enjoy listening to his voice. I was a Deniac too but I do believe the right one was picked for this awesome task.

When I was in Tampa to see the Senator the day after the debate (at the Sun Dome at USF), watching him strut around the ring was very enjoyable. One woman even cried, "Take off your clothes!" He smiled but did not acknowledge it.

OMG that was so funny!!!!

15. I Agree
When you look at GWB on TV, say to yourself, "You are no longer President."

When you see John Kerry on TV or in person, say to yourself, "President Kerry."

17. I have a lot of trust in and respect for Kerry
I haven't felt that way about a presidential candidate in a very long time. I said way back that we had some truly exceptional people to choose from this time around. At least half the field would have been good choices. The country will lose a great opportunity if this man isn't elected.

So I of course loved him as the running mate. But Kerry has become pretty fantastic in my eyes.
