I watched the debate with half a dozen people. None are political junkies like me who can recognize Cheney's multitude of lies. Some are (still) undecided. EVERYONE agreed that Edwards is far more personable, better spoken, and appealing.

Words used to describe Cheney: cold, detached, uncaring, unfeeling.

It is very obvious that Cheney only appeals to those who like him in the first place. Edwards has the ability to bring people in.

Edwards appealed strongly to the few who were undecided here.

This is why the public polls will have Edwards as the winner. (Which he was...)
