Edwards didn't attack on Energy Meetings.
I would have gone on and on about B/C's executive power grab, their secrecy, Cheney's "undisclosed location," etc. Didn't Cheney defy subpoenas? They all think they're above the law.

I'd have said:

You've now given yourselves the power to declare American citizens "enemy combatants," to monitor opposing political parties, to infiltrate peaceful groups, to determine our energy policy (which apparently included divvying up Iraq) with no public input, to ignore public input about your changes to environmental regulations, to ignore public input about the war (and you represent all of us, motherfucker), to ignore legislative procedures to arm-twist your gift-bag to HMO's and drug manufacturers (i.e., the Medicaid bill), to keep us from seeing caskets, to keep us from hearing about casualties, to keep us from finding out Bush was AWOL, etc.

2. I don't think he had the time frankly. There were so much stuff he
could talk fast enough to get to it all.

3. Edwards mostly kept to some specific points.
I like him, but he's still a little green. Maybe he could've invoked Kerry a little less.

4. He left ALOT unsaid !!!!

I think they were trying to "focus". I think Edwards was concentrating on attacking Bush POLICY instead of going after Cheney.

I do agree though that Cheney should have laid the record straight about the "prescription drug benefit" that consists of 60 separate "discount cards" that entitles you to limited benefits that can be changed at will by the card's providers.

5. Cheney told so many lies
that it would have taken hours of rebuttal to answer them. Now is the time for all good men/women to write letters to their newspapers. Pick a lie and tell the truth.
