At long last, have you left no sense of decency?
Come on Mr. Vice President...telling lies so outrageous that even the most dedicated dittohead had to be wincing won't win you the election.

"I have not suggested there's a connection between Iraq and 9/11"

Going on news show after news show in the months following 9/11 and telling the world that yes, in fact Mohammad Atta, leader of the bombers, DID meet with a high ranking official of the Iraqi Intelligence Service is absolutely suggesting a link between Iraq and 9/11.

Joesph Welch asked "Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?" when a power hungry Senator organized a witch hunt in the Senate 50 years ago.

I think the same thing should be said to you Mr. Vice President about your own witch hunt.
