Edwards won people's hearts, his closing statement was great and direct and I think a lot of people really reacted to it.

Dick Cheney voted against meals on wheels, head start, and freeing Nealson Mandela!

Then he opposed MLK as a holiday, the repubs lost because Cheney is an evil toad, don't let anyone tell you different.

It's no wonder that he must have a Type 2 personality and has suffered heart attacks. Both Bush and Cheney let their opponents get under their skin and they reacted emotionally. This might appeal to those who favor an aggressive military war with a leadership that only wants to crush and destroy, but I would prefer that we have leadership which can stay cool and rational under pressure.
