Disgusting: Cheney off the Hook for 9/11
Cheney kept saying they were the best for protecting America.

Newsflash!.. Cheney was in control on 9/11, it happened on his watch. He, a former Sec. of Defense, looked the other way as the hijackers planned their attack. The CIA told them to watch out, but were ignored.

Edwards should have brought up that simple fact last night.

Rightfully, someone in the administration should have been fired for neglecting the defense on 9/11. But no, no one has taken responsibility for the massive failure.

They are off the hook. Scot-free, and Edwards failed to nail his ass. Not good. Not good at all.

2. The Bushies performance on that day...
was unacceptable. They did a piss poor job and they should have to answer for their actions, or rather, their inaction on that day and in the months beforehand. I sure as hell don't feel safe with them in office. However, I would with Kerry.

3. wrong place to nail 9/11
as much as i agree with your sentiments...i reluctantly believe that had Edwards (or Kerry) tried to pin 9/11 on the * administration, it would backfire and maybe even blow up in their face.

The public is just not in the mood to look at 9/11 right now. Once President Kerry is inaugurated, let the real investigation begin.

4. I used to say that
"It's not the right time yet."

Last night, and all through the campaign, 9/11 has been the crux of republican support. Time and again, they have used 9/11 to scare people and build themselves up.

Well, we all know the simple facts: B*sh looked the other way when the CIA told him to watch out. Cheney was in charge of stopping terrorism, while war was being planned for the Middle East.

B*sh was quoted today as saying he wasn't prepared before 9/11...Duh!

Why can't Kerry and Edwards say something along those lines? Why can't they put a zinger in sideways and call B*sh and Cheney on their mistakes?

B & C have called Kerry dangerous. Dangerous!

B & C are the dangerous ones, 9/11 is proof.
