Karma is a good word to use here.

If they didn't spend their time and energy slinging dirt for the fun and profit of it, you could say their good Karma could balance it out. We all have our own negatives, but these folks tend to revel in the faults of others while ignoring their own laundry. In fact, they seem to make a lot of it up and exaggerate things along with total distortions and a a coat of lies.

Rush going to prison would be a great indicator that there might be some justice in this Bizzaro Universe.
