14. But he was "born again" in the mid-80's..............

Texas Monthly did an expose on him while he was still in the Texas legislature, dubbed him "Hot Tub Tom" for his many late night private parties with ladies in the hot tub of his Austin townhome while his wife was raising the family back in Sugarland.

So when Tom decided to run for the U.S. House, he answered an altar call at his Sugarland Southern Baptist church and asked for forgiveness. However, he was still cheating on his wife 5 years later, not even counseling one mistress from aborting her baby. DeLay was one of the stone throwers at Clinton's house during impeachment...he was such a hypocrite as Clinton never got anyone pregnant (AFAIK) nor stood by in silence while an abortion was performed.
