The lack of WMD, will it be enough to send * packing?
or will his supporters stay with him? I know most of them would not only forgive but cheer him on not matter the facts are but tthis confirmation this morning should be enough i would hope.

3. They say one of two things, either it doesn't really matter or that there
is no proof that he didn't have them, only that they can't find them.

It reminds me of when Clinton was found to not have committed any criminal acts with respect to all the contrived scandals they said, that the real evidence hasn't been found yet. He's guilty we just can't prove it.

Their minds work in wondrous ways.

... they are only 30% of the public (40% being generous).

I have to think that the rest of the American people, when push comes to shove at the polls, will not reward such a massive "miscalculation" that has cost us so much in lives, goodwill, and dollars.

Especially given the (finally) revival of the issue of whether the administration misled on the WMD intelligence, whether they jumped the gun, whether Bush "shot first and asked questions later".

5. When the real reason for invading Iraq wasn't WMD
but to establish businesses, control the
oil and build permanent military bases...
the WMD or lack of doesn't really matter,
except for their lies.

So if Republicans still don't mind
being lied to....
