Poll question: With Conan O'Brien moving to 11:35 in Five Years...
Should NBC Retire "Late Night" and replace it with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart at 12:35am?

Or, Should NBC Bring on Jon Stewart to host "Late Night"?

Dana Stevens (bottom blog entry - same line of thought)

Interesting tidbit:
+ Jon Stewart's Daily Show Contract Runs Through 2008

(Yes, I know MTV/Viacom owns Comedy Central/Daily Show and is not owned by NBC but the relationship with NBC appears deep - Conan repeats, Last Comic Standing, etc.)

Finally - PLEASE just don't give it to Carson Daly!

1. Will Conan O'Brien still look like a young republican in 5 years?

2. Actually I've heard rumors that CBS wants Jon Stewart to replace Letterman
when Letterman retires.

Interesting... But with a contract through 2008, and this happening in 2009, I figured the times lined up so, why not?

5. I think...
They should ust bring in another random/relatively unknown comedian to take over for Conan. It's how Conan got famous, so why not try it again?
