especially since you don't fit that description.

I suggest you discern between yourself and the other kind of so-called christians-- EXTREMIST christians that I have a problem with. The kind who are trying to (have already) taken over the gov't, have a powerful voice in politics, expect to be protected against taxes, lie to subject women to death and personal harm in their quest to protect zygotes, teach that women should be subservient to men, support the death penalty yet know nothing about institutional bias in the criminal justice system which leads to higher rates of executions for blacks, seek to remove the wall separating church and state, ban books, ban science, teach that abstinence funding works (it does not according to studies other than christian sponsored), yell about freedom to pray--for themselves only, teach their followers to believe only them and to mistrust, even banish the discernment of their own mind.

I find all of that offensive. Its all part of the extremist christian agenda. They are fascists, and telling me to remove my remark is attempting to force me to whitewash what is plain for all to see.

Clearly this is not the brand of Christianity you practice. I'll be happy to specify my sig line for you--maybe add the word "extremist" or evangelical or "only the bad ones and you know who you are"--- (though I hate to detract from the linguistic appeal) to indicate which kind of or sect of christianity I'm talking about, but I won't kowtow to demands that I do as you say based on your personal reaction against an overgeneralized, simplistic reading of my opinion.

4. What I think is so funny about

Edwards winning the debate is that he told the truth while Cheney lied and lied and used the fear tactic again and again. He couldn't even win when he lied about most everything!
